Over 15 years of real estate and mortgage experience.

“A happy personal life makes working with my clients more rewarding, enjoyable, and allows me to be more creative,” states Jason Nichols, a world-class real estate professional. Jason is happily married to his wife Tara and has two beautiful baby girls that inspire him to be the best he can be ever y day. He has a positive and optimistic approach to life, that he brings to his real estate career and his clients lives. When Jason isn’t enjoying life with his family or working, you can find him surfing at Trestles in San Clemente. The art of surfing helps position Jason’s focus, keeps him centered, energizes him, and is a source of strength for allowing him to “live his best life adventurously”. Many of his clients would agree that it’s this passion and thirst for life that aids Jason in finding the best solutions for his clients.

Besides his passion for surfing and real estate, Jason is a successful entrepreneur and investor. He has a healthy list of investments and business projects that have been both successes and failures…or as Jason would refer to them as “learning experiences”. Jason believes it’s not whether you succeed or fail, it’s about learning and growing from your mistakes and trying a different method the next time until you get it right. It’s this fearless approach that attracts many of Jason’s clients to him with confidence. Buyers want someone that’s innovative, has their best interest at heart and fights for the best opportunity. That someone is Jason and Jason’s clients tend to follow that same philosophy. It’s a Wealth Mindset.

Jason is an Irvine native who was raised in Woodbridge and graduated from Woodbridge High School. He and his family currently live in Woodbridge. He began his real estate journey in 1999 with American Home Loans as a junior loan officer, primarily selling 2nd mortgages, and bringing the superior customer care that he had learned as a firefighter. Jason was a firefighter with Orange County Fire Authority, and became part of a special team at fire station 26, located in Irvine off Walnut and Yale. In 2002, Jason founded North 2 South Lending, where he grew into a licensed real estate agent and worked with buyers and sellers. “It was a lot of fun…but I was quickly humbled,” he says. From 2003-2008 Jason bought and sold 15 of his own investment properties. Going into 2008 he had 9 rental properties plus his primary residence…when the real estate bubble crashed he was hit very hard, just like everyone else. What he learned was that a person “needs to be ready for anything”. The Wealth Mindset was starting to become clear.

Jason is considered the “bullet-proof” fire-man and hero everyone trusts, and his story makes him more approachable in helping others work through unfortunate events because he’s been there as well. This recession period in real estate was stress tolerance training in mental toughness, and a time of serious commitment and dedication. Nine short sales and foreclosures, a lawsuit toward a bank on his primary residence for Truth and Lending Disclosure errors, and high hopes for a loan modification that didn’t go through, have all taught Jason perseverance and resilency. Despite this difficult time and large setbacks, Jason’s commitment and passion grew larger and stronger, as he looked inside himself for inner strength and realized he could pick himself back up and start over—a Wealth Mindset had emerged. He bounded back and pushed through, working hard, and became a success again. He doesn’t look at these experiences as failures now; in fact he looks at them as the complete opposite because they got him to where he is today-happy, healthy, passionate, successful and driven. These experiences have molded him into the intense strategist he is now. As he learned “anything can happen and you must be prepared for it all”. Now he’s ultra-optimistic about life because he learned “no problem is too large or unsolvable”. This is “the Wealth Mindset” driving his tour de force. Today his clients build upon this Wealth Mindset, for strategic creativity and quiet collected confidence. Nothing is impossible with these 6 simple steps to the Wealth Mindset Real Estate.
